Follow along as I express myself through art!! I never know from day to day what I will be doing in art or in my posts! I am on a journey to create, trying not to set limits or boundaries that will constrain the outcome of my expression. I have tried setting limits in the form of challenges to myself, only to find I rebel against it. Realizing that I created this box I find myself in, I am removing all restraints...

My Studio-a work in progress

I seem to have a dual personality in my studio. Some of it is extremely organized and the rest of it is seemingly cluttered. (I do know where everything is, despite appearances.) It is definitely a work in progress that I began this summer. Organizing, decluttering and a little bit of creating! I really have just a corner of the breakfast nook in my kitchen, so I am forced to really be organized. I do spill over now and then, and take over the kitchen table as well! I am now at the point where I want to start decorating and having a little fun in my little space!

Your space is a great beginning! I started out with a corner of my laundry room (and 6 sons laundry often overflowing into my creative zone). Whatever it takes to make space for what you love! I've enjoyed visiting you as a fellow participant of Studio Magazine's Open Studio Day. Blessings!

I love the vintage camera photos on the wall and the way you've used the folding screen to close off the space when you're not working. Nice touch, too, to use fabric in the spots originally meant for photos. And it looks pretty well organized for a small space. Thanks for sharing your space.

Oh I have my messes too...believe me and decluttering is necessary at least twice a year.
Thanks for sharing your Studio photos! Maybe sometime you will have your own room for your Studio. Till then enjoy the little spot, it's just wonderful to have a spot at all!
Smiles, Anke ;)

"It is definitely a work in progress that I began this summer. Organizing, decluttering and a little bit of creating!" - words from you about your studio; I echo those sentiments. I shared Studio A on the tour but there's also a second side that screams "organize me" everytime I set foot in it, at least a zillion times a day.
Thanks for the inspiration ~ tomorrow I get busier...
